How to Crochet a LOOP Stitch (lp(s)

The loop stitch is one that can be used to anything from fur on crocheted animals to loops that texture any of a variety of crocheted items. 

It is a very easy stitch, and here is how to do it: 




I have a friend who loves to crochet animals of all kinds. Many are made using the amigurumi crochet style. 

I haven't yet tried the amigurumi crochet style, but it does look like fun. My friend crochets animals for her own pleasure and sells some of them as well. I will introduce you to her very soon!
