In a time in our Country's history when searching for a job has become a way of life for some, another job hunting resource is always helpful if not exciting to find. Part-time jobs have increased in popularity because companies want to hire, but depending upon the size and type of business, they, too are under constraints due to the present economy. We have experienced all sides of this in our home.
Recently I was introduced to a site that has a unique layout when compared to what I have seen before. Part time jobs are listed directly to the site by potential employers, and there are thousands of them listed on the site.
To manage your job search you can set up an account at the site which I am doing as I type this...it's simple. I clicked the login box, chose "Job Seeker" and filled in my email address and. Now I'm off to go check my email and confirm my email address. Okay, I'm back, that was easy.
Now I have to complete a form with further information. What I like about the site is the fact that I can browse jobs, and once I've set up my account, should I see jobs that interest me, I can click a button and save them to my account to look at more closely after I'm done browsing. Another feature I like is the ability to apply for the job right on the site. There are educational tools to help you with resume writing and more.
I put in my zip code and interest in the large boxes across the top, and since I'd like work that allows working from home, put in "telecommute" and had several jobs appear that I'll go look at more closely after I post this. I didn't expect any to be very close to me, so I has happy to see that it included jobs from out of State and out of the area that might have work available.
I hope that this job search tool will be helpful to some of you, there can never be enough job hunting resources in the days in which we are now living.
